Got 2 dives in at CB today. We planned on going to Roubidoux originally, but got a report it was blown, so we went to CB instead. First dive was back to the pit and back. we was diving in a 3 man team, with me and another full cave buddy Dave, and Chris, who will be finishing up full cave very soon. Chris just wasnt feeling it today, so he sat out dive number 2. me and dave decided to drop down in the pit, and give some new gear a good test run. Dave borrowed Chris new primary dive light, which is the new DiveRite RX2. The light was plenty bright, but seemed to have some halo rings when he shined it on the cave floor. Not a big deal at all, it was a really good bright light. I was trying out my Halcyon 14w that I bought from csmarsh188 here on the CDF. This light was a lot bigger in size that I was expecting, but it was a very bright light, and I am happy to have it. And finally, I dove my brand new DiveRite Q multigas computer. I was a little leery of this computer, after being let down by the X. However, after day of diving this computer, and I very pleased with it. The display is just like the X, except it had the OLED, which made it VERY easy to read under water. I didnt need to shine my light on the computer to see it. Even on our deco in the lake, when vis was a couple of inches, I was able to see my time and depth without much effort.

There was some flow getting into the cave, but not noticeable much once ionside. Vis was easily 40-50 foot.
