Ive been thinking about them for pressure guages if they can be that short and for the inflator hoses on my rebreather...the chest area is very cluttered and they would take up less space for everything else i am sticking with the old hose technology.

That's basically why I went to them. Started with a longer one for my BOV, and it added flexibility to moving my head (and loop) from side to side. Recently tried the HP Phantom for SPGs and no complaints. Stayed away from the Miflex HPs due to the negative posts, but the Phantom seem to be working out fine. It's obvious from this thread that some people like them, HP and LP, and others don't. I like mine.

Rebreathers are something that we have to go to in order to dive the way we want to dive. They are not something we go to for any other reason.
Are the Phantom very different from the Miflex?
The Phantom HP hoses have a larger OD. That may have been an attempt to fix the crimping problem the Miflex hoses were having. I've seen leaks from the Phantom hoses, too, though.
