Default additional guidelines for your team?

Do you'all have additional guidelines that you use within your teams in addition to the typical 5?
We've added a couple based on accidents we've read about and what makes sense to us.

    6. Both team members get in the water together and accompany each other out of the water. No one gets in or stays on deco without the other.

    7. Place cookies for each team member for every navigational change. I know folks worry about lines of cookies in busy systems but we've never had this happen yet and would probably choose not to jump or turn knowing there was a flock of people ahead.

    8. clarified proper gas for depth to no greater than 1.2 ppo2 for working phase and 1.6 for deco...believe this is pretty common.

I'm interested in hearing what additional personal guidelines/rules you follow for your teams.

My normal dive buddies do what you have listed as #6.

I have regular dive buddies, but I'm not sure I'd describe any of them as "normal".

I heard of a solo diver who did accident analysis and implemented a new rule for his buddies to keep deaths low: "don't drink my beer while I'm diving!"

I was thinking "wait at least 5 minutes after your last dive of the day before cracking open your first beer".

That aint gonna happen unless you count hanging out at the surface before getting out of the water.
