Apopka Blue

I was informed by a reliable souce yesterday, that Apopka Blue in it's current state is once again diveable ! I question this because I had encountered one Officer -Disney- sometime in the recent past who told me in no un-certain terms that it is private property owned by the city of Apopka, & though no signs are posted it is indeed a " no-Trepass " site !
Can anyone enlighten us ?

It is. Too bad too, but if caught on the site expect to be arrested for trespassing. Perhaps this is being confused with the Lake Apopka Spring in the Gourdes Neck area of the lake. It is often referred to as Apopka Blue, but it isn't. PM me if you are interested in diving the Apopka Springs.

It's pretty clearly posted no trespassing.

It is well known that it is best to NOT get caught diving there.

Then again, it is a great dive for one with an e-tool.

There is only one -Apopka Blue..I know of & is up the hill from Rock Springs. I've spent numerous hours there, but not currently....this was prior to being sold & *pinned "no Trespassing" .......by the City of Apopka. It was a sweet practice spot till purchased by authorities. I guess this follows the rule of populace: Where there are hoardes of city dwellers there abounds new laws & properties. Perhaps for the best. After all it is a delicate system & like so many others had become a trash dump at one time. The cop was doing his job & he was friendly but also informed ! I just remembered him because his badge said Officer Disney ! Again, this was some time ago. The current gossip i picked up on was from a TI ! "It is what it is" !
