Best place to dive to avoid crowds on holiday weekends?

Another subject for Cow Springs for this coming wild weekend in Florida. There was a case recently of some locals accessing the spring and harrassing a cave diver. This was also reported to me about a year ago. At the time, Cathy was made aware of the problem after the diver had left the site. Both episodes resulted in the sherrifs department being called but arriving too late. I do not want anybody harrassed, injured, or threatened while diving at Cow. It is normally a safe place to park and dive. I have instructed Cathy to engrave the telephone number of the Suwannee County Sherriffs department on the key fobs for everyones use if needed. I would also like to say this, as members of the CDS everyone is a partial landowner of this property. Do not hesitate to call the police immediately if you feel you are being threatened or harrassed by anyone not supposed to be there. As a matter of fact, call them first and then call Cathy as she will send her private militia to sort things out. Thanks again, and I hope I didn't scare anybody off from diving this weekend.

Anyone else see the irony of divers being upset at people swimming at 'our' property like cow? Yet I'd bet a lot of these same people have done a sneak dive on someone else's property or at least complain about places like Telford.

I just find that funny.

I think the issue was with the 'guests' demeanor, not their existence.

Yet property owners ***** about us "trashing" the place..... The point is I just saw some irony in the fact that since "we" are landowners "we" are bitching about others using "our" property.

You don't have to find it funny..... I however do.

I for one wont be calling Cathy if we have trouble springside with any locals. We carry equalizers! Now if they break in the truck and steal all our equalizers were in trouble.

Back on topic a bit... peacock was dead on July 4th... seems family holidays are slow at cave dive only sites.
