If someone did slash your tire( probaly did) than I feel personaly they should be beat. I think that is a huge problem with todays people. There is not adequate punishment for ones actions. For instance when a police officer observes a motorist cut three lanes of traffic from the right most lane to turn left into a burger king, all while cutting people off and causing a disturbance. They should be pulled from their car and smacked. Just like everytime a forum moderator see's me at the caves I should be hit for my grammer and spelling. I know I know we can't do it that way. But think of how much more people would be in check. I was rear ended yesterday while in the left lane. The dirver in a mid to early 90's ford escort with no shirt or shoes on, rap music blairing, two decals on the back winshield "thug life" and "pure cowboy", and with two small kids in the back seat, shirtless shoeless and not in car seats. This indavidual is in the right hand lane, cuts rapidly into the lft lane guns it, and runs into the back of my truck. We pull over (no damage to my SUV, thats why I drive one) and he comes at me yelling damanding to know why I did not speed up because he has kids in the car and I should be more careful. Now where is the logic in his argument? A wiser man than me once told me to never get in a argument with an idiot, they will simply drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. So as much as i wanted to choke this poor excuse for a citizen who by the way I learned does not have; a job, insurance, a lisence, or a vehicle registration. It hurts to say it, as proud as I am of America in a whole, but lets face it some people are just walking o2Tango's ( oxygen theif's)

Adam, I hope that the police were involved and that this miscreant was cited for his numerous offenses. By Vermont laws, which I am sure differ from Florida's, I count at least 5 violations. (Careless & negligent operation with accident resulting, unrestrained children, operating without a license, unregistered vehicle, uninsured vehicle)

Dean, sorry to hear about your tire. I only see Ginnie in October and February, when the bad behavior is at a minimum.

Even here in quiet Vermont summer is underage drinking and partying season, along with drunk driving, drunk ATV riding, drunken brawling, drunk swimming, drunk jumping off cliffs into rivers, and a variety of other alcohol-fueled behaviors that land people in our ER. After 30 years I'm getting a little sick of it. I just have to try to be amused rather than disgusted.

    Mike
