Default Stolen Tank from Dive Outpost

A grey Faber LP 85 was taken from Dive Outpost Sunday 6/19/11
Description: Grey Faber LP85, Last Hydro 10/09, Has Lee 1 around neck, XS Scuba VIP 5/11 & Fill express VIP 11/09, Brass 2" ring around neck, Thermo 300 bar valve.

There were only 2 teams in that day, one from this area and the second team lives in the Tampa area. These were not cave divers so the tank pretty much does them no good unless they change the valve as they use yoke. So they may try to sell the tank. We ask that if someone tries to sell you this tank please call the police and DO 386-776-1449. Below is a pic of it's mate as they only got the one.

I live just east of Tampa and teach for a local shop. I will pass the info along so they can keep an eye out for it.

Kind of hard to SM with only one tank.

Hey Ron, maybe post on The Deco Stop also , if you haven't already.

I passed the info along to the dive shop last night. They are keeping an eye out for the tank.

Let me go on record as saying I would have paid $300 for this tank.

If the stolen property is valued between $300 and $19,999, then the defendant will be charged with 3rd Degree Grand Theft, which is a 3rd Degree Felony. A charge of third degree grand theft also applies if the property take is a firearm, a motor vehicle, a commercially farmed animal, a fire extinguisher, any amount of fruit consisting of 2,000 or more individual pieces, any stop sign, construction signs, or anhydrous ammonia.
The penalty for a third degree felony is a maximum of 5 years in jail and a $5,000 fine.

Weren't 2 of Irene's tanks also stolen just recently or did they manage to find their way back?

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

I'd have paid 310 AND would have used it as a fire extinquisher.

Ron, any chance these guys bought anything at CE, or the Country Store with a credit card or check. I can not remember the daily sign in procedures at WSPSSP but would their name/tag number have been on anything? Probably been checked but thought I would ask.

    Safe diving,

    Sandy Robinson

WSPSSP has an iron ranger, if you don't have a pass, you put money in an envelope which has a space for car tag #(IIRC) and other basic identification info. Whether or not they filled that portion out is another story... I usually don't.
