WTB: MAKO or Similiar, Low Priced Used Scooter

I know it may be a bit of a long shot, but I'm hoping to find a well maintained DPV (I've used, like and trust the MAKO, along with the SS UV-19 and 26, which I really like, but are severly out of my price range), obviously, its gonna be well used for the price I'm offering, although I won't complain if it has not been used much. Hopefully the battery was still conditioned regularly though.

I'm able to pay a max of $1,000-1,100. Not to worried about cosmetic issues, but prefer the color isn't outragously bright. In a perfect world, a black with red midpiece MAKO would show itself... But we all know its not a perfect world! Just want a decent starter scooter so I can join my buds on scooter dives without having to bum one of their Scooters, I think I'm wearing it out (their generousity, not the scooter!!!). I'll be able to promptly pay once June 3rd rolls around.

Thanks for having a look and maybe even thinking about it for a second before movin on to the next thread. Of all the diving forums, I find this one to be the most honest when it comes to making deals with little security protocols, and getting to the proper info, without having to deal with a bunch of panzees (even CDF has a few though, its inevitable)... Hello JD I happend to know of a scooter "Mako" in your area for sale that if you pick it up might be in your price range.
Let me know if you want the details.
It is very clean, comes with crate, not sure but batteries were not that old if I remember correctly.
It is a great deal but I need to complete training first or I would purchase it.

I have one in pretty good shape I could sell. Mako. Black with green midriff. no case for it. new battery (maybe 4 dives on new battery), includes charger. the lights showing state of charge still work on the scooter (which is rare indeed). $750.00. I take paypal, checks, cash, but you pay shipping. Or invite me up to go diving!

Or how about an older techna dvx? red, battery more used. good charger. $500.00
