Congratulations! And as mentioned by others, this is a significant course and I think that this and rescue might be two of the most important dive classes.
(Rescue for obvious reasons and cavern for its importance introducing divers to the overhead environment and the various things that go with it.)

Your skills as others have mentioned will continue to grow with training and practice.

I was told cavern and intro is where you get your end kicked.
Apprentice and full is where you dive and get mentored.
Pretty much true.

FWIW, Don't diminish you achievements by comparing them to others. I suspect you got the cert because you learned it and earned it. Enjoy the journey.

I have just recently taken an interest in all of this.
I hope to get my Cavern soon too!
If any one has any suggestions for an instructor, I would appreciate it! I live in Northern California.

No caverns in California, at least none where training would be safe. You'll have to travel to North Florida or Mexico to get your cavern training.

Come dive the Mill pond. Get your training from Rob Neto. Dive JB, Hole in the wall and Twin.

Congrats on your cavern training. Don't think its not much. I always heard cavern training was 75 percent of full training. This came up just recently with one instructor who told me on the side he wished it was a four day course that has to be compressed. Hope you enjoy your dives and learn from them taking time to develop before progressing to the next class if that ends up being where you head.

Two days is definitely not enough. I'd like at least a 3rd day, but unless all the agencies change, none will.

Thanks for the tip. Would really like to do some of the training in CA. But with the research I've done so far, I looks like I may be FL bound soon!
P.S. The Miami Dolphins are my favorite team in all of sports, so what the heck am I doing in CA! LOL!
