I think the walk in the water is fine as it is as well. Would like to see some tables go in topside though and could help with building em if a well equipped expert carpenter is needed.

Suwannee County's Parks Department is in Live Oak so I can easily visit them in the next few days to start the ball rolling. Email me a few photos of the MSB racks I can print out to show them.

this is great...we have quite a few folks willing to support the cause between responses to the thread and PMs....the next step as Jim said is to ask permission. It looks like John is willing (thanks!) to pay a visit and start it. I'll let everyone know when we get closer. If we have enough people, we'll lower the amount but let's see actual costs....thanks again.

I for one am not wishing to reinvent steps or ramps but the tank racks like the ones at Peacock and Madison are very handy for donning and doffing.
I am more than willing to help fund there construction and if I am available down there when they are put in offer assistance.
These tank racks are very handy to cave divers as dressing racks and or a place to put on / take off doubles.
No one is lamenting the steps or walk down the ramp but racks would be a benefit instead of using your trunk or tail gate.
I have never been a fan of picnic tables as they are intended for picnics not built to be dressing tables and more for use of the general public.
The wear and tear on picnic tables form dive gear can be substantial when used heavily.
Tank racks make sense and solve this issue.

The picnic tables better be cemented into the ground or we can expect them to walk off with the locals.

Well, I guess I can donate too, even though I never use them for anything, but a place to drop my fins while I am opening the van
