Is that light a good primary light for caving? How long of burn time does it have?

I have two DR MR11 lights (not the one pictured but a 10W), and they have been good lights for me. They are 4 and 5 years old and still going strong. The batteries are original and I normally use them for two dives a day when diving. Based on that, they last at least 3 hours on a charge - I have never had them go out on my second dive. I do make sure I charge the batteries after the dive day, before I dive, and once a month if I am not in the water. After replacing two bulbs because of abuse, I treat the bulbs like a baby.

    Safe diving,

    Yeah what Sandy said...
The rated time on the battery is 4 hours I think. You should get between 3 to 4 hours.
This light also has the focusable head so some people preferred this model over the mr11.

I have a light like the one for sale. Buying it and a Duo computer was my best two purchases for cave diving.

If cave diving were Star Wars, who would be Yoda?

I would have thought that getting divorced would lead to more diving, not less.

That said, a friend of mine was in a particularly nasty debate with lawyers during his divorce. At one point he turned to his wife and said "do you know why getting divorced is so expensive? Because it's worth it."

    He pretty much lost everything.

Hope I never go thru a divorce but I'll definitely know what not to say if it ever happens. Ouch!

Dood, you'll never need to go through a divorce. You've got that technique down pat for conning (I mean persuading) you wife to let you go on trips! You could teach classes.

Land of Enchantment -- not so great for cave diving, but mighty scenic!

It did for me. I was lucky, when it came to dive gear, and other toys. She put down, "I keep all my dive gear, he keeps his", "I keep my motorcycle, he keeps his", I keep my airplane, he keeps his". Since my stuff was worth several times more than hers, I just kept my mouth shut. I did take a bath on my retirement, though
