    Kelly,

I didn't know any of that- and I agree that the ill behaved have created a poor situation. I'll also step up and say that I disagree with the decisions on how and where to place lines in many of these places- but I wouldn't monkey with them- I just deal with it. Regardless- as you know I am a somewhat "prickly" (to put it nicely) person at times. I bridle at being told what to do- or not to do, in any situation. I would be most happy if the state and the cave diving community would leave me alone (literally and figuratively) and keep their collective noses out of my "business". Since that wont ever happen I choose to not be a part of the "community" and I occasionally ***** about it. I have to put up with the intrusion, others have to put up with my bitching...it is what it is.

Many of us miss the days when we drove up somewhere, did our dive, and left. I appreciate your comments because it keeps us thinking and testing the status quo.

I honestly did not know you meant the CSO, line committee etc as the cave police. I never thought of it as a policing activity, but rather a liason activity between cave divers and the landowner. As Kelly stated, we would not need this interface but for the few cave divers who think of themselves as deity.

If you have line configuration change ideas please let the line committee know. The process is slow, but changes can be made if everyone agrees that the changes need to be made.

The process for line configuration changes - plus a few other pertinent things related to the lines at PSSP, Madison Blue & Lafayette Blue are explained at http://www.northfloridaspringsalliance.org/lines.htm - Your constructive input, as well as all others constructive input is always invited.

Are you guys doing line repairs at Madison Blue. There was a line break which was repaired by another diver. The repair is at the RotoRooter jump.

Thanks for the great job you guys do.
