Sure don't need something to break 3000 feet from a fresh breathe of air.
Guess I'll put up with the ache of the old jaw. Poseidon just loves those
mega-stiff hoses, I don't.

Has anyone ever used a different 2nd stage with a more flexable hose on a jetstream first?

The Xstream hoses are more flexible, and fit Jetstreams just fine. FWIW, any 2nd stage will fit a Jetstream first, but why would you want to do that?

There are also adapters available that you can add to your poseidon 2nd stage so that you can use whatever hose you want. I have one on my Jetstream that includes a 90 degree elbow that allows me to use a shorter hose.

Of course, this adds another point of failure, but the shorter hose, less snags and more comfort outweigh the risk of this happening imo. Just another idea for the mix.

The odin's have the big end with the pressure valve. All the hoses I've ran across with the large end are big time stiff. With a different second I could use the tiny new style hoses.

OK Wizard, the one in the above post, with a 90, or 120, should solve your problem. I still think the newer Xstream hoses are plenty flexible. In fact that adapter with a Kevlar hose, and you wouldn't need a 90.

Forrest and Jon, that's a lot more robust than a swivel and safer looking. With a kevlar hose that would make
the ol' odins much easier to handle. Thanks guys!

The one Jon listed seems to have an over pressure relief, and the one I listed doesn't, but I can't tell for sure.
