If it will make the cave safer, contact Jim Wyatt, the NSS-CDS safety officer. We have goldline, and #72 line.

True, but goldline is a special order from them, meaning there is a big minimum order.

Because of the color, or some other aspect?

I suggested to Dan the prop of River Rendezvous that a gold line and possibly a warning sign be put in the cave. I'm sure he'd be happy with just a relining if a gold line is not available. I talked to Jim Wyatt about doing this cave but he declined as his interest is in more of the public caves (limited resources and time).

Yep, they don't stock solid colors.

Gotcha, I wouldn't call that a deal breaker though... considering that goldline, stains as well, and convict goes under occassionally, I imagine anything the right thickness would be better than whats there?

The line will be replaced early next month, probably with #72 white braided nylon (1/8"). Joe, if you have a preference on how the line is laid, let me know. No, it isn't me doing it.

I hope whoever is going to reline this cave will put a few line arrows in. I never encountered a single arrow on my dives and since it does silt out (I exited on the line) they would be very beneficial.
