No need for the state to issue them - all Vermonters have their own snowshoes! (Just like da U.P.!)

There are often a few patches of snow left in early May. Green-Up Day was originally in April, but it got moved to May because of late season snowstorms. We still have plenty of snow - since getting back from Florida a month ago we've gotten 55 inches - including 6 inches Monday. I'm ready for spring.
