fs: out of hydro aluminum 80's: 2 Luxfer, one Catalina

I picked these up in a package deal locally, and am keeping what I want/need and selling what I don't.

All tanks have yoke valves, all are out of hydro and vip. The paint on them is actually in good to great shape.

1. Neon yellow Luxfer. Born 08-94, last hydro 07-00. I actually have a brighter more neon-y yellow vinyl tank boot I could swap out for the one on there. $60

2. Blue Catalina. Born 06-97, never re-hydroed. $50

3. Yellow Luxfer born 04-92, rehydroed 09-98. If whoever buys the neon yellow tank wants the neon yellow tank boot, this tank can have the regular yellow tank boot that's currently on the neon yellow tank $60

I'm in the South Florida area on the East coast. I am going up to High Springs on April 1 for the Scubaboard Bi-Annual Megadive, and can bring tanks up that way, or anywhere in between, then. If it was imperative, I have family traveling to Gainesville next weekend and could probably trade dinner for tank hauling

It's oh-so-difficult, Sludge! Deciding between what hobbies, and what to buy in those hobbies...never ending battle between filling up my meager rented bedroom with crap, and my wallet.

I couldn't resist the deal I got on this scuba gear, but I really don't want to hydro all of the tanks I bought, or buy din valves for them all, or strip all the paint off of them all. So I'm keeping some, and will use the money from these to try and patch my wallet back together...

Of course, as with any deal, I'd rather sell than sit on them, so feel free to make offers. I forgot to mention that I really want an o2 clean aluminum 40 and would trade some of these for one.

Following a purchase that wasn't quite, uh, necessary, Mrs. Half-Fast once asked me, "How many guns do you need, anyway?" I replied, "One of each. I'm collecting the entire set."

I then reminded her that she owned at least 3 saddles and 3 complete sets of tack for each of her horses. "Oh, yeah. I guess I do, don't I?" Every hobby I've ever had pales in comparison to those hay-fired manure factories.

Actually, it is her that should be worried. She is a lawyer, and Russell fixes regulators, or substitute teaches for a living
