    Default Nicholson Tunnel Question

Hi, a question for you Peacock experts. Last week my dive buddy and I looked at the map and thought we could take the Nicholson tunnel all the way to Cisteen sink. After traveling a ways down the Nicholson tunnel the line abruptly ended. There were no jumps marked (that we could see) and no obvious other lines in the area. We simply turned the dive at this point and went back to Peacock I. Is the next tunnel up the Pothole line called the Cisteen tunnel? And is that a continuous line to the Cisteen sink? Should we have seen a jump fron the Nicholson line to the Cisteen line? Thanks for your help with this.

The nickolson line dead ends in a jump to the cisteen line. Or you can take the cisteen jump all the way there. Its the second jump to your right off the main line. It keeps going after the sink, to the otherside of olsen to a jump back on to the main line.

The Nicholson line dead ends into a tie off up into the ceiling. Your basically at a T tunnel wise. If you tie in a jump and proceed straight out against the far wall, about 3/4 up, you should see the Cisteen line. To the left you head back to the gold line, to the right you head to Cisteen.

The lines are pretty dark back in that area, but there are arrows on the Cisteen line, you just have to look for them.

This thread brings up a number of questions.

What is the publication date of the most recent Peacock map?
How much new data has been added to it since it was published.
Who manages and/or maintains the master map?
When will (if ever) the Baptizing system be added to the master map?

Mike Poucher made the most recent map. I suspect Baptizing won't be added, because the tunnel is too small. Several other small tunnels were left off the existing map.

I just saw the last page of the current issue of UWS and there is a map there with Baptizing added to it...
