Heavy rains in south Georgia are the best predictors of the caves fixin' to flood. We had rain yesterday, but not a whole lot. Several days of a steady downpour would be bad news.

And the end of March is near the peak of the spring rainy season. If the river is going to flood, it is generally in late March or early April. That's when most of the historic floods occurred. Your best bet is to watch it closely and check back with the forum just before you come.
Right now, it doesn't look like it's going to be a very wet year, but things can change pretty fast.
