My Facebook page and another cavediver have one less friend. Shelby McDaniel,the father of Ben McDaniel befriended a lot of cave divers on Facebook,but I guess out of displeasure from comments made by concerned cave divers,I got the boot. But,I still stand by my conviction that offering a reward is close to wreckless when it should tempt someone not experienced to attempt this dive. Shelby if you are reading this, we have a philosophy in the sense that one victim is bad,two is worse. If you want to discuss this then PM me your phone number and I will be happy to talk to you about it.

I guess my comment about understanding the pain of losing a son and not wanting to see anyone else have to go through it (as in going on a "fearless" search) was too offensive. The last time I spent with my son before he died was at Vortex (topside only) during the initial searches for his son. I'll always remember that weekend, Mr. McDaniel.

I didn't comment on anything, and have hardly been paying attention to this mess, and it seems I was De-Friended by association haha too funny. I realize they are going through grief but don't they realize they could possibly get someone else killed, the best have looked for him. Walter, Nemesis crossed my mind too but I agree with your second statement.
