I've bought SLA's from TnR for my Tekna before, nice guys, but they indicated to me that they were not willing to discount any, even though they offered free shipping and I was picking them up in person.

I'm thinking about buying new batteries for my 26 sometime in the next year, but decided to wait until I have a job

Yes, and you get to pay two markups. Well three, if you count the distributor

As for picking the best batteries, I believe Rodney feels he did that by selecting Genesis; where you get them from is not too terribly important. Especially when you consider some of the big battery sellers will run a free shipping teaser

Did you ever get a new motor for that 26? I say that because you used to think yours was kinda slow...

Incidentally, TNR is where Gamble used to get his from and he was always happy with their service. I think they are in Sanford, near Orlando. Be there next week if you want me to grab them and bring them up to Cave Country for you the week after...just depends on how hot you are for them.
Hey Bob i will go with them, if i order now should get them soon, still planning to dive over my spring break in the middle of march...will definitely hit the ginnie area. Will keep you posted. Bill

My UV-18 needs batteries. From the above, I would assume the ones I need would be called G12V18EP. They list a 16AH but not an 18AH.

    G16-EP is what you want.
