Default Looking for info on caves near Satellite Beach, FL

My sister, her husband, my mother and step father live there and being that I havent been able to get myself to take a vacation in the last 15 years unless it revolved around diving I told my sis I wouldnt come visit unless there were caves close by (yes I know its selfish of me). So what are the closest caves, sidemount or otherwise? If you want you can PM me.

    Thanks,
    Jamie

Define "close by". Rock Springs is the closest I found. http://caveatlas.com/systems/system.asp?ID=175&co=US Don't know anything about it.

Rock Springs is closed to the public. Access has been arranged by the Cambrian Foundation.

Apopka Blue is owned by the City, and from what I gathered from my conversation with the manager of the site, they're only interested in allowing the Cambrian Foundation in there to dive. It's a very risky sneak dive, too, very close to a neighborhood with neighbors known to call the police. I've heard (second hand) this system is known for sand slides and collapses, so if you do decide to dive it, be careful.

There are no "open caves" in the central florida area other then Gourdneck which is in lake apopka.

All others are on private property and/or require a permit... or really good camo wetsuits.
