Hey all,
Thank you all who have responded saying they will help with the clean-up. I talked with Kelly Jessop today, and park management will be most appreciative of our efforts. Their budget is small so any work we can do will go a long ways. I hope to talk with park management in the next few days to get an idea of equipment and time requirments for different projects that need to be performed. I will keep you posted.
Thanks again.

Hey all,
The clean-up is just under two weeks away and we have had a lot of interest. Currently, our options include painting and caulking a barn roof, clearing weeds and undergrowth, filling holes in the parking lot, repairing picnic tables, pressure cleaning steps, and picking up debris. There is a possibility of some plumbing and painting work in the bath houses. If you have expressed an interest in the clean-up, let me know your first and second choices from the list above if you have any. I’ll do what I can.
Most equipment and materials will be provided but an extra pressure cleaner, 200 feet of garden hose, shovels, loppers, a chainsaw, hand saws, and a wheel barrow will help us. Let me know what tools you may be able to bring.
We will provide lunch for all participants. Again, thank you for your upcoming volunteer efforts. I will post more information within a week or so.

Sandy,
I can bring a chain saw and a pressure washer. Also, if it would help I can go to the park next week and take photos or measurements of any of the projects if anyone wants them for planning; it is only about a 20 minute drive for me.
