As long as none of the bones are dislocated, there's not much to be done. Apply ice, keep it elevated, and splint it. If you need help splinting it, go to your local fire department and they'll do it for you. No charge unless they transport you to the hospital. off topic but working security at the hotel last spring break, some girl came limping in drunk from the club. Said she hurt her ankle. I have a fair amount of medical training in the military and splinted it for her and wraped it. Her biggest concern was how she was going to dance at the clubs. Damn spring breakers....
