Thanks to all who took time to read and send positive comments, here and on other sites. Here is the final lesson and conclusion of my Worst Cave Dive tale.

The best piece of advice here is to never give up. As long as there's still air in your cylinders, you better be trying to get out.

I agree with "never give up", but I also agree that you shouldn't put yourself in danger looking for someone who might already be out, or who might be better off if you went for help.

Your report and another I found last week have been ringing in my head for a while.
