They were both less than 300' from OW in JB when they ran out of gas. Basically, they were in passages with their scooters that shouldn't have scooters in them. Things got silted out. They got separated. They waited and looked for each other and almost died because of all those events and more.

do you know how they planned their gas? were they diving thirds? how did they share gas on exit? long hose and towing? swimming?

Couple guys from Missouri who didn't really have an awefull lot of experience from what I've gathered... and nearly kacked themselves in JB a couple months ago. Too far, too fast, with scooters; and a little luck from a passerby who just happened along to find them and bring them out.

I don't know what the gas plan was, bbut whatever it was, it wasn't enough. They didn't share air. They both ran out about the same time.
