    Question Halocline

I am working on a project for my natural resource management class and was trying to find a picture of a halocline, I think I saw on here. The picture was of a diver swimming over a halocline causing a ripple on it like a boat on water. If any one knows where this picture was and if I can use it in my project (want to use in in a power point presentation) please let me know.

    Thanks

While not specifically a salt/fresh water halocline, I believe there is a photo here somewhere showing a diver swimming above a layer of sulfer which does a nice job showing how water stratifies.

    Default Halocline

Heres a strange shot I took in Chac Mool (I think) back in 2008. there were two divers in front of me that slightly stirred the water so it doesnt look like the layers you see if you are first. The white dots in the bottom right are from adjusting the light levels of the picture as these came out very dark. It was a Sealife 600mp with only the internal flash.

I put my glasses on and this is actually a shot from the surface, not holocline... Ignore the old guy.

I don't believe I ever saw a photo that did the beauty of the halocline justice. The closest I think, was a video sequence, not photo, from the BBC Earth series which most likely was filmed in Ponderosa. Not helpful I know, but anyway... it was really very good. I think my favourite halocline is at the back of Minotauro. Jaw droppingly spectacular!
