    Default Abe Davis Today!

I completed Full Cave #100 today with Jeff S. and Mike F.. We did the Grand Traverse from Orange Grove to Peacock and then a short run up the Peanut Line. 113 Minutes and 5500ft of passage.

The vis was incredible and the walls were much whiter than the last time I was there.

    Absolutely incredible dive.

Congratulations! How long has it taken you?

I'm almost to 50 post training dives since the fall of 2009. I look forward to getting to 100.

Nicely done Mark! I look forward to not only diving with you again soon, but returning the announcement as well.

You're able to go more often than me.

    Finished Full Cave Nov-9-07.
    2007 - 2 Cave Dives
    2008 - 26 Cave Dives
    2009 - 25 Cave Dives
    2010 - 44 Cave Dives
    2011 - 3 Cave Dives

Even though I live half way between Eagles Nest and Manatee it has been hard to justify a lot of cave diving. Between work and Family, all three of my daughters are scuba certified (my wife doesn't yet dive), I find it difficult to get away for an activity that doesn't include them. I got some sympathy last Christmas and my family bought me a Ginnie pass. I also found a farmer with excellent hay just south of Trenton so I can drop off the trailer in the morning and pick it up on the way back through. Since the trailer only holds two bales I have to do it at least once a month. I am also doing a little bit of work in High Springs, but that hasn't worked out as conveniently as I had hoped.

That is great! How about writing the dive up for the Milestones column in UWS?
