the solution to that is to not carry it by the handle.

Or make it out of something stronger. My straps aren't nearly as cool looking as these, but you can use the handle for a handle.

i just haul em around by the valve. I've never thought of that thing as a handle really.

i know that but people who help gear up on boats or help unload gear carry them that way. Actually I only have them on my 2 40's i use when teaching. All my BO bottles/stages have a hose clamp with a xl bolt snap secured with bungie and the neck has a bungie loop with a med clip that just slides over the tank valve.

I have used my not inconsiderable detective skills to locate the cause of your problem.

anyway they seem to solve that problem, as long as the same happens when they are wet. you mind giving the source of the cord? I know how to make the braid.

You can get the paracord online but its in bulk. I get mine from a company local in Hilton Head.

Honestly it would be cheaper and easier to just buy one of mine.
