Pinnacle Black Ice Size Large

I want to sell my Black Ice suit. I bought it from Edd last July, and have about 20 - 30 dives on it. It has a balanced Dive Rite Pee valve. It is a stock Large, and I am not! It is in great shape. My last dry suit lasted 6 years and 250 plus dives, and still has the original wrist seals. I take pretty good care of them.

At 5'11, 225 pounds, this thing fits me like a wet suit, it swims great, low drag, and is pretty comfortable. I cannot get a thick undergarment in it with me. I have been diving 2 layers of fleece, and that is fine for 100 minutes on Nitrox. If I inflate with trimix, then I freeze, but lately I have been colder that I was 10 or so years ago anyhow.

I would like to get $1100 for it.

I have not soiled the inside of the suit. There may be some Harvey's mud on the outside.

Why not try some of the new "high tec" undergear and or use air or argon for inflation on your trimix dives before you sale a suit that is comfortable and swims good?

Good question. I already have several good undergarments, and a heated vest. SO, the choice is to buy more crap to fit the suit, or get a suit to fit my existing crap. I do have a base layer of Ice Armor, and that helps, but so far, nothing has beaten the combination of my 400 gram Pinnacle Merino undergarment and heated vest. I have gone 220 minutes with that combination no problem, except the batteries for the vest are getting old.

I saw some of that "new high tec" stuff last week. It was made by Waterproof in Sweden. The owner said it was very warm, and only about 1/8 thick.

I just bought a couple sets of the first two items on this page - Sierra Trading Post (google sierra trading post coupons to get them for even less). It's all I wear under my Black Ice and I sweat. They are very warm and wick water like nothing I've ever seen. I had a wet shoulder last week and didn't even know it until I took my suit off.
