Eagle's nest visibility VS rain

Hi there,
We had a dive planned at EN today.
Does the rain affect the visibility immediately or does it take a coupple of days?
I ask because of the pouring rain we got last night!

I don't think it affects it immediately. Last weekend it was raining the night prior and the day of our dive and the vis was still the same 40' that had been reported for the whole month.

we were there today as planed and the vis was around 40'.
I found the water in de basin conder than what I remember...
