    Default Suwannee Blue Spring

    Hi there,
I hear different things on the acess of that spring.
Is it only a boat access or can it be reached easily by walking on the river side?
    Is it a nice cave?
    Is it sidemount?

    Thanks
    Phil

The spring run leading up to the site is blocked by a land bridge you'll have to swim under. You can stay in the waterway, but it's *not* navigable. I personally would consider it a trespass dive.

It's too far to walk on the river bank, you'll have to go by boat.

    It's a nice cave.

    It's sidemount.

At current Suwannee river levels don't do it. The water level is so low you won't be able to swim back there, but you'll have to carry gear through each spring run,and that will definitely cross well into trespassing.

The owner is VERY MUCH AGAINST anyone going there. Not friendly at all.

I have heard that the front "entrance" to the system has "collapsed with help". Can anyone verify that?

You can still swim under it. I've heard that rumor too, however.

It's illegal if it was. Land owners can't tamper with spring flow. Let me know if it is and I'll report it.

There was some very minor collapse that occured at the river entrance, but not an issue now. There is something else that is occuring that may be illegal, look for my PM and I will discuss it with you.
