Christmas gifts for landowners

Hey Guys,

Anyone thought about getting xmas gifts for the landowners that allow us to dive their caves for free? I know the WCDC gave out Christmas hams this last year, but since Ben got tied up with personal life and the club hasn't been as active this year.

There's several sites, Tally and Ft White come to mind, that we dive the entire year for free. Would anyone be willing to donate towards some sort of a "thank you"?

Edit- Just got off the phone with Matt Bull, and the WCDC has already got a few of the tally sites covered (I guess that's what I miss when I don't go to a meeting), they *are* giving out hams. We thought of about 3 other sites closer to "cave country" where a ham would be well appreciated.

We're doing the hams thing again. From what I hear the hams go over pretty well.

Yup. I've done that one a few times recently, I'll cover him since I think I've gotten the most good out of it. I'll try to swing out there on xmas eve.

Kitty/Trap would be good ones, Bill is very generous. I think Morgan Spring only charges to cover insurance and doesn't profit either.

We've given landowners a gift card for a restaurant like Outback before. Enough for two people to get a nice meal. That way they can get what they want.

If there's a good still photo of their cave, having the shot blown up to a large size and framed can be nice.
