Although I'm new to scootering, I find once you get used to the scooter, I see more of a cave that has flow while scootering than I do when I swim. Specifically, when I swim Ginnie, I'm focused on where to optimally grab so I can pull and glide, or where to swim to reduce flow drag, and tend to miss parts of the cave. Since purchasing a scooter a few months ago, I've seen parts of the cave I've never seen before while scootering routes I've swam many times in the past. I've so much enjoyed looking at the scenery while scootering, I'm getting concerned about hitting my head on the ceiling because I'm no longer paying attention to where I'm going. Kind of like text messaging in the car while driving down an interstate.
If you are scootering too fast to smell the roses, dial down the scooter speed.
