I may be wrong, and correct me if I am, but havent people dove behind the grate in the recent past? Not as part of a sneak dive, but as a sanctioned event know by Ginnie. Just curious and not trying to stir any pot.

It was in 1976. I dived it before the grate several/many times. Low & silty with a clay bottom if I recall properly.

Yes, thanks for correcting this. I very much agree: there are much more beautiful caves to dive than this one, plus land owner relations to me is number 1! Even if it was a nice cave I would not sneak to dive it. This would jeopardize every cave diver's access at Ginnie!

If there were no other fun no mount caves to dive, and if you had a a death wish, then you might want to try. However, there are thousands of caves either waiting to be explored, or that have parts still unexplored. This cave is explored, is blocked off, and any potentially possible access is highly unlikely to be usable, and if you try, there is a good chance you'll end up dead. Plus, it's bad for landowner relations. There are several much better, safer, and less explored no mount sections at Ginnie.

Whenever I see these two guys telling me what I should or should not do, or providing lessons on morality or even instructing me on the difference between a gate and a gRate...I just can't help but think about Ace (JJ) and Gary (JahJah). BTW that's Gary on top.
