Default Peacock extended by over 10,000ft

In August 2010 James Toland and Agnes Milowka made the connection between Peacock Springs and Baptizing Spring. The connection between the two springs means that the Peacock Springs Cave System is now over 10,000ft longer, adding significantly to its already extensive 28,000ft of passage.

To read more about it visit the BLOG post – The Peacock Springs Connection

A full article written by James Toland and Agnes Milowka describing the exploration and a color map compiled and drawn by Bob Schulte will be published in the next edition of Underwater Speleology (UWS) the NSS-CDS magazine and later featured on the AgnesMilowka.com website.

Awesome job Ag and James! It's nice to know that exploration in Florida, and especially such a heavily-visited site as Peacock still has a few hidden gems to be uncovered.

What's next on your exploration agenda, Ag?

Hopefully I can get back to FL for a visit sometime soon. Atm I have to find caves to play in closer to home... and nothing is close here in Oz. But I do have plenty of ideas for trips, just need to fix the the age old problem of time and money.

Thanks all for the positive vibes! Hopefully we can answer all the questions in the upcoming article.

Damn, every time I get closer to doing the grand traverse you increase it. LOL. great work to the two of you.
