    Default Alachua Sink Steps

Thanks to everyone who turned out to help on building the new steps at Alachua Sink the last two Saturdays. We did get a great deal done but still have another day or two of work left before the steps are finished. I have some great photos and will be doing an article when the steps that will contain both the history of the steps and the process of working on them. We had nine divers show for the first day and twenty yesterday! Capt. Tom McMillan bought us a lunch. Thank you Tom! Wayne Kinard was a big help when I forgot my visa card and someone had to pay for extra wood. The CDS will refund him! (no, it was not intentional )
Many more people to thank but I will have that all in the article. It is really looking good out there! Cave divers ROCK! Thanks for all the hard work, Cindy Butler

    Ditto,
Wish my schedule would have worked out so I could have been there, looks like the rain held off for most of the day. Looking forward to the pictures and article.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.
