What about the tools? Anybody know what happened to the Peterbuilt outfit that made some of the best Scuba tools I've ever used?

Peter Wolfinger sold Peterbuilt Tools to the current owner a few years ago when he retired. Scubatools.com has always been the web address and the tools are the same (with the exception of the new tools added since the change of ownership), so in essence the only things that have changed are the ownership of the company and the name of the company.

it is scubatools.com I just bought the scubapro second stage tools... decent price... around $60-70 each. They have pretty much everything you could need for service tools for any set of regs.

Just rebuilt my MK25/S555 Scubapros (best reg on the planet in my opinion) and purchased complete Nitrox rebuild kits from Scubapro. Each 1st stage rebuild kit comes with a small sample size squeeze tube of Christolube MCG 111 and I only needed about half of what was in the tube. I also have several 2 oz tubes of this around the shop for general use. If it comes with the kits, I would imagine Scubapro prefers that you use this it.

I used hot 50/50 white vinegar and water, follow up cleaning in hot Simple Green and water with tooth brushes & Qtips, hot water rinse, black light inspection, re-clean as necessary.

The christolube sample must only come in the nitrox kit because I've never gotten one in the regular kits and christolube is what they want used on everything. I wonder if it's enough to put "your $2 worth" on the piston stem o ring assembly... it darn well better be at twice the price of a regular kit, lol.
