Thanks, this is nice!! You should join us!!! You will probably talk with Bobby about our Thanksgiving plans so we should definitely get together.

Its only like a mile, mile and a quarter from the park... very doable by canoe.

SM is better on this cave, unless you can find joy in spending time in OW looking around. I did, and I found the BM entrance, no problem - although I only use it to show BMers how not to wedge themselves in crevices at Bozell

Fortunately the strap broke in a place where I could salvage the break and still use the strap. I am trying out some spring fin straps today at Ginnie.

I would recommend fin straps that have the wider rubber surface area on the heel. This keeps the pressure point wider and makes it more comfortable than just a round spring covered in rubber. I bought a set at LB's a while back and they work great. Also, this particular set had a loop of rubber in the rear that is absolutely perfect for clipping your fins to your deco/stage/SM bottle clips when you place it in the water while getting suited up.

I purchased a set from Edd. I think i got what you recommended. Spring with wide rubber surface and a loop in the rear. They are pretty comfortable, but my rubber straps were more comfortable.
