Well, if you're the boss that means you can schedule dive days for the Plt, right?

That's typical of the military. I think I only had one 1st Sgt who was actually an E8. The others were E7s and even an E6! It's cheaper than promoting you to the pay grade for the job you will be actually doing.

Even though it's two ranks above that's a proud position and a duty worthy of great respect. Work the hell out of those devil dogs!...maybe introduce yourself by taking everyone on a litter run, to beach swim to ruck sack march.

Adam, I am sorry to hear that you will departing ranks with us here but trust me you will be more than pleased with the rock. You want deep you got it. 1) Bolo point...long walk to the water but there, life begains at 150' and the gets as deep as you want it. 2) The best of the deep with easy access, Horseshoe. A not so easy walk but a great swim out over the reef 15'-30' (whick is perfect for deco) to the wall. Once you see the wall you will see the light fade to darkness. At the bottom of the wall you will hit about 120' and then it gets really deep from there which is well past 200'. Those are 2 of the best for deep dives. I'll add more to your list soon. Please take care, when are you departing, and as always...Semper Fi.

Another good contact with Deep, Tech, Caves, etc would be Chuck DeCasari (sp?) from North of Nago charters. He is retired recon and one of a few that teach tech, Trimix, etc. here on island. I don't remember reading if you are into GUE or not but if you are there is a group here as well. There is a small-ish group of advanced, experienced divers here but mostly you're going to find OW & AOW...they just don't stay long enough to advance a lot further. I have absolutely loved my time here, 5 years, and hate to leave this summer (back to GA). I hope you enjoy your time here and find the diving you like.

I agree, a very stand up guy.
