i was. never complained about the drive to the caves. and i hate ocean diving.

Wasn't just refering to you on the part of not being satisfied, just a reference in general to the human race. But BTW, since you hate ocean diving, you selling any gear before you go? Wouldn't want that gear to just sit up and dry rot or anything. JK Who are you gonna be with over there?

In my little article in Cave Diving: A&O, I hit the nail on the head - although there are many, many cave divers that would LOVE to be a three-hour drive from the caves, I'm jealous of the cave divers that live a five-MINUTE drive from the caves!

I have heard of people that get to dive everyday after work. I wish I could be so lucky.

Oh, I'd kill to be able to cave dive once a week . . . Twice a year is not enough!

I have a 6 hour flight and $120 in bag fees roundtrip to cave country (Mx or Fl.) I would be ecsatatic to drive 3-4 hours to cave dive. For me it would be more like 3-4 days!

Yeah, every cave diving trip for me starts with $500 in airfare . . .

Just $150 for the airfare for me... But I really cannot leave the career now to move to cave country.. I like what I am doing as much as I like cave diving.. darn conflicting loves!

A trip generally costs me around $10 everything in gas, fills ( 3 AL 80's) and cenote entrance (if shared). From leaving home, I can be there and back in 2.5 hours if I am organized. There are some bad things about living in the Riviera Maya, but there are some very good things too.
