When is sidemount necessary????

Hello

I'm a french cave diver and I use sidemount with CCR since three years.
It's possible with a french rebreather, the "Joky" (design by fred Badier and built by Airtess Technology).
In some dives, when the cave is really small and when the squeeze are very hard, I push the CCR in front of me.



John Volanthen, a famous british cave diver use this rebreather in some dives, as single one or in redudancy of his main modifed Inspiration.

This rebreather is specialy design for cave diving and with it, it's possible to dive in very small caves.
