Default which Pelican (or Otter, or other, etc) cases for...?

as the title says, I'm looking to pick up good cases as recommended for my O2 Analyzer (Oxycheq Expedition) as well as my Hollis 16W light.
I was told the 1150 might work (Pelican) for the Expedition.
I see the measurements and have searched the forums and the net but not really finding this little tidbit.
Any suggestions would be very welcome. thank you.

they do but it was highly recommended and it simply makes sense to get an airtight-er case to protect the sensor a little more.

it isn't a bad case for protecting the unit but protecting the sensor makes sense to me at least.
and also trying to find one for the light. I can't find these cases anywhere...measurements are easy to find but don't know what works best for folks. Thanks.

Putting your sensor in an airtight or nearly aritight container will not extend the life of a sensor, that's a myth. If it does at all, it's so minimal it's not worth the effort.
Their isn't much you can do to extend the life of a sensor once you "wake them up" except keep them out of the heat. Heat will kill a sensor faster than anything.
Even sealed from the factory they have a limited shelf life.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

My initial sensor last a little less than 2 years - maybe 22 months. When I bought a new sensor (20 months ago), I also bought a $5 sensor saver. So far so good. I can tell you more in November though.

Here is a good read about sensors, note the part about sensor saver/caps
