Galaxy dives are awesome! I'm there!

Yeah, but I want to find the burger/dog count he is bringing and get extra rolls. For some reason I trust his count more then a poll.

Even though the Social starts at 10 am , the park is open at 8 am. Come early and get a dive in plus, guarantee yourself a parking spot in the unlikely circumstance that it fills up with weekend warriors. See ya all there.

    Cool It was a pleasure...

...to act as Social Director for the CDF Summer Social 2010. Thank you all for coming out. Total of participants from 8am to 8pm on Saturday were 47 guests and 17 of those were divers.

The day started of with rain but by 10ish am it had ceased. I got to meet various entities from this forum and never got punched in the face , although Tegg did kinda grab my arse as he lifted mt safety reel . Everyone was very cool and happy so good vibes all around. Plenty of foodWatchin, eatin my co and drinks, even a few cold cervezas were enjoyed. The dive action was good since our group were the only ones cave diving and a few OW friends shared the H2O. I believe two teams of scooter wimps did some long penetrations and the real hearty swam a whole lot of cave. The vis varied around 20-40 feet . TJ, Denise and Peter were the gracious hosts as always, well Peter was like the bouncer. It was impressive as he wailed on the gang of midgets who tried to take our food, I never knew people could fly like that. Speaking of midgets , SSKasser did not make it , something about hanging with her son. The real truth is she was out producing/directing a greased dwarf tossing , pole vaulting semi porn flick , looking forward to putting that one in my collection. Anyways we substituted "Ginnie" at the kissing booth for Shirley and it worked out better , this biatch has a longer tongue. We never did find out FW 's real age, there were no calendars back then. By the way Forrest I stole your DPV charger and you won't get it back till I receive one of those jam proof reels!. Mike and Sandra P. made a celebrity appearance and I missed on the photo/autograph opportunity. Sludge kept yelling out "stupid thing" , why are you a Herbie hater Russell? Bob K you da man, a really tall one especially next to Bill Bowden. Jay you belong on a Harley bro. After locking my keys in my van, some Fidel Castro cuban refugee showed me how to "access" the vehicle..."es nada man". There were many others not mentioned here but this post is getting long. A great time was had by all , it was a beautiful day!!!

    Great job, Herbie!

I'm wondering if we put you and Bob K on as Social Co-directors, what you can come up with. My guess would be the best social ever.

Speaking of which, I'm going to start a new thread on the Socials and Workshops page...

I had a great time. Herbie, TJ, Denise and the others that helped did a great job. I had a great dive with Mark even though it had a rough start - upside down at the start while figuring out a new drysuit and a dead light.

Did anyone get a picture of me upside down? I need to frame it as a reminder.

    Herbie,

Great seeing you again too but sorry I could not make it out there until late afternoon.
Thanks for being the social director!

I think Denise snapped a couple pictures of your fins - there was even a comment to the effect that you were still moving, you must be OK and couldn't have drowned yet...

Great time, great dive, nice to see Manatee, the ride out from catfish hotel was a blast!!
