x-mas come early for a lucky jarhead....
So for those of you who may know I work at the navy base in panama city as a Combat dive instructor. Well everyone from my girl friend to my dog to my Gunny(boss) is tired of hearing me at work whine about wanting a new dry suit. Well today I was on edds website drooling over a evolution two when the civilian gs we have working for us says " you want a dry suit?" I answer yes then he tells mw to go see a.friend of his over at supply long shot but he might have something. I go over there and he finds in the very back a size LG short brand new whites kodiak dry suit with size 11 dui rock boots. Since they don't issue them it was a hook up and the last one they had. Just happened to be the perfect size. Its not the best for caves and meant for tactical applications but you can't beat free right. It is a bit. Unusual like.the inflator is on the hip and the left thigh has a pocket. For the bottle it came with. It came with suit boots bottle reg hose bagrepair kit and most important the t-shirt.
Not trying to rub this in just wanted to share my joy with a group that can appreciate how lucky I am to get this suit for free. My girl friend didn't think it was a big deal ..who would have thought. I'll post pics.if.I can figure out.how.
We don't get paid much but working for uncle.Sam has its perks
