    Question Hart Spring ???

Someone mentioned that to dive at Hart Spring a guide is no longer a requirement. Is this correct? What are the current requirements? I was on the Hart Spring website and it still shows having to use a guide. Thanks.

100 safe cave dives to dive Little Hart without a guide.

You still need a guide to dive Lagoon.

To dive Little Hart without a guide you need to provide proof of Full cave certification, 100 safe cave dives, and DAN (or equivalent) insurance.

A guide is still required to dive Black Lagoon. No Solo diving is allowed.

    Herbie,

My usual dive buddy John Spann and I dove Little Hart on Monday and found conditions to be good. Flow is down a lot from what it was back in late April and the vis was around 60 feet.
We swam to about 1100 feet in on the main line from the Little Hart entrance and then turned and headed back out.
Contact park manager Mitchell Gentry at the park for info: 352-463-3444.

P.S. Again, it was great meeting and diving with you on Saturday.
