I was able to get in 2 dives yesterday at Cannonball.

!st dive, I led the dive with buddy Ken following. We took the main line all the way back to the pit, set the jump to the right, and followed the pit all the way around, and turned the dive when that line ended. I picked up the jump reel on the way out and we slowly made out way out. Dive time was 48 minutes, max depth 52 feet. Water temp was around the usual 59 degrees. Flow was very low, barely noticeable, actually.

A little rain storm passed while we had our SI, which was kind of coll, because I heard it coming down the lake channel about 5 minutes before it even got to us. It last just about 5 minutes, then it just got humid and hot, so we decided it was time for dive number 2.

I led the dive again, putting in the first jump off the main line to the right. We followed that line until we reached the jump to get back on the main line, which I placed, and we followed the main line back to the pit again. This time, we dropped down to 100 foot, just because we could, then exited, retracing our path, picking up the jump reels. Dive time was 49 minutes, max depth 100 feet. That little storm seemed to have made the flow pick up just a hair, but nothing unmanageable.

On a personal note, the first dive was dive number 800 for me. I am not sure why I still keep track, but I do.
