Post WTS: Cosmetic Second's Sidemount Harness Plates.

    Hello everyone,

Like the title says, I am selling some cosmetic 2nds. I have exactly 3 sets of plates for a Steve Boegarts inspired style harness. I have added 2 different features that I feel the original was missing: Clip in points on upper harness for bungee's. Clip in points for Reels on lower Harness.

The reason I am calling them cosmetic 2nds, is they have "Blow out" on the backsides of the plates where the laser started and stopped the cutting cycle, I have hand filed the slots to ensure they will not eat webbing. Other than the visually unattractive state of the back they are 100% operable.

$60 Per set Shipped in the US.

    -Matt.

For anyone wanting to go sidemount this is a good way to get in to it. At $60 for the plates, you need about $55 in D-rings, webbing and a buckle to finish it up. 2 sets left.

OK, I'll bite. I do have more than a passing interest in going SM. Not so much for tighter diving, but for relief of an old hockey injury. So with these plates, and the webbing and D rings I have in the "parts box" I am good to go? I suppose you mean for the harness and that's fair. Are you offering any recommendations or pics for bladders and/or rigging?

Yes you will be good to go as far as a Harness system with these plates and your box of misc. dive equipment. As far as the lift system goes I am in the middle of designing a prototype for the harness, but it will not be available to anyone for about 2 months. I can supply you with a website that shows the basics of how to rig the MSR bag up to be used as a lift system. It sounds complicated... but it actually works very well.

    Hi Matt,

Do you think we can arrange a shipment to Denmark?
