It is very sad to find out that diving has lost such a great diver and explorer, his work has been forever captured on film.
Our thoughts and Prayers go out to his family and his extended family.
I wish I could have met you,

    Jim

I'll miss Wes and his contributions to our world. He made it a better place and set the bar high.

Shirley you're not serious? No, I'm not, but do stop calling me Shirley.

I thought I was handling the news well, until someone called to get me to edit a video for them. It is part of my job, so I will do it, but it sure made Wes' death hit closer to home.

    RIP Wes!

It's so painful to even write about this. The personal loss to his family and friends is too deep for words, for even tears. Florida has lost a great son, Florida Springs have lost a champion. His legacy will live on in every person who has seen his films, his photographs, and decided to do even one thing to help our springs, or the environment. Godspeed, dear Wes.

Like others have said, Wes's photography was instrumental in my entry into Cave Diving.
He has left an amazing legacy, and will never be forgotten.
    RIP Wes

I'm stunned and at a loss for words. I know many of you were close friends, and I send my respect to you, the family. May he rest in peace. Just think about his contributions to our world, and that is what we leave behind. Thank you Wes.

Wes will be greatly missed by many around the world. We could never repay him for all he has done during his lifetime. Our prayers go to his wife and family. Rest in peace Wes.

You can never have enough dive gear!

I just came across this very recent national geo spread. His artistry was simply amazing.
