I didn't care for it too much. It seemed overly simplified and made a lot of assumptions. I have a hard time when the article tries to explain what the deceased diver was thinking and the emotions he was going through at the time of the accident.

Well, those articles are always somewhat fictionalized, to make them more dramatic and full of impact. It doesn't bother me -- consider the audience at whom the magazine is aimed.
