Can anyone give me the street name that brings you to the iron ranger? I see dirt roads on how to get to it but I'd like to use the one that is the entrance so I do not get in any trouble lol.
Why would you try to save three bucks to ruin the reputation of cave divers by trespassing (on the access and by being in the State preserve without a day pass)? Pony up the $$, drive in, no problem. Like Jay said, roads are in great shape - just go to the entrance that says "Hernando Sportsmans Club" or something like that, put the cash in the envelope, put the stub on your dash and turn left. The drive in is good for "disconnecting" from the world on the way in, and reflecting on the dive on the way out.

Am I the only one that's had a bad feeling about this entire discussion from the word go?
It's bad luck to be superstitious.
Why do you think I'm asking! lol. I spent 30mins on Google trying to figure out which dirt road that leads off a main road is the actual entrance, but have had no luck. A place called Cody's catfish pond has a dirt road that can lead you to it that is an option since no one wants to tell me where it is. I've stated I want to pay the $3 and not do it the wrong way. I don't know how you can type that to me when you obviously know how to get to it and could tell me the correct way but haven't told me. If you don't want to post it then just PM me it. I plan on going there just once.
EDIT: I know where the Florida Sportsman club is, I used to go out there when they had the huge gun events every year. I don't recall seeing any signs for Eagle's Nest?
